Creative Industries Styria was initiated in 2007 as a network organisation. It creates awareness for the creative sector on a regional and on an international level. As an active co-creator of the structural change to a knowledge-based manufacturing society, it initiates and coordinates key projects and initiatives of the creative industries. It is a cooperation and contact partner for institutions and companies, which want to implement creative concepts. The realization of those concepts is supported through project-related consulting and networking. With Design being an integrated process for product and service innovation, the creative industry takes over a cross-section function in terms of strengthening the innovation processes of companies. It also plays a crucial role for the site development and for the emergence of innovative milieus.
