Lemgo, 09. Juni 2011******Stockmeier Urethanes GmbH & Co. KG has bought Greenfield Polymers Ltd. (GPL), a company located in Sowerby Bridge (West Yorkshire). GPL is a provider of material, solutions and services to industries, and is active in the fields of electronics grade potting compounds and electrical encapsulants as well as adhesives and sealants for numerous industry sectors. It is one of the leading independent UK companies engaged in this field. GPL operates in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. It also has sales and distribution in Scandinavia, the Middle East, North America and the PR China.
„Not only do we extend our product portfolio in an excellent manner through the acquisition, but we also gain better access to markets and regions, in which we are underrepresented in the respective products“, Stefan Baumann, CEO of Stockmeier Urethanes GmbH & Co. KG explains.
The sons of the former owners who both have already actively managed GPL for many years will remain with the Company.
