Crowd Dialog Europe: European focus - global impact

Munich, 08/13/2015 – In two weeks, on August, 27th 2015, the leading minds of the European crowdsourcing-, crowdfunding- and crowdinnovation-industry will meet at the Crowd Dialog Europe at the historic Astoria Sali in Helsinki. But also international guest from Canada, Israel an Malaysia have announces themselves, which shows the explosive force of this innovative topic.

With delegations from 25 european countries , the Crowd Dialog Europe is one of the biggest events dedicated to crowdsourcing, crowdfunding and crowdinnovation. In short focused lectures of 15 minutes each, the latest ideas and developments as well as the most interesting thinkers of the industry will be introduced and discussed. The speeches will be moderated by David Wilcox of ReachScale from Boston. In addition to the exchange of knowledge between the participating countries, the networking will be one of the goals of the event.

All the more reason for organizer Michael Gebert to be pleased about the cooperation with the Europe-Asia Roundtable sessions, in short: EARS. This exclusive cooperation will further promote the internationalization of the Crowd Dialog Europe. This is also reflected in the announcement of the delegations from Canada, Israel and Malaysia.

„Crowdsourcing and crowdinnovation are among the most exciting topics worldwide at the moment. Both established companies and innovative start-ups can benefit from the wisdom – and the money of the crowd, to bring new projects and products on the way. On the other side, investors become independent of the current low interest rate environment. That means, they can now use the same chances as institutional investors“, Gebert explains and adds: „The status, that governments and finance experts grant this topic is also shown by the participation of Klará Janatová, law expert at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech republic and patron of her home country at the Crowd Dialog Europe.“

To demonstrate that the issue of Crowdsourcing and Crowdinnovation is even more relevant in countries with a difficult financial situation, the organizers have invited Georgios Karamanolis. The Greek country patron and expert in the field of crowdinvesting will report on the significance of this new form of financing for companies in Greece.
