High school and university students“ first experience in the working world
High school and university students regularly take the opportunity in summer to learn about working at SKIDATA during an internship. In order for both sides – the company and the interns – to profit from this time together, SKIDATA places high value on designing instructive and exciting internships. Interesting activities on which interns can work independently are delegated as quickly as possible. And SKIDATA employees are always ready to help if questions arise. SKIDATA organizes intern get-togethers in July and August so that interns can get to know each other better and share their experiences.

Every year SKIDATA offers between 20 and 30 internships in various departments. And it isn“t only high school and university students from Austria who apply for these internships at SKIDATA, but also interested students from abroad. This year, SKIDATA welcomed interns from Spain, Hungary and Slovenia to the headquarters in Grödig near Salzburg. Matyas from Hungary is enjoying his internship at SKIDATA: „It has definitely paid off so far. Every day I learn something new. One thing that really stuck out from the beginning is the friendly atmosphere. Everyone greets everyone else and is ready to answer questions or exchange ideas.“ The student enjoys not only the variety of tasks at SKIDATA, but also the beautiful location in Grödig: „Having the Untersberg mountain just outside the office is pure luxury for me.“
